Desert Rose

Price: $7.95
SKU: CFD12270
This product is not currently available for purchase.
For optimum performance we suggest:
15-30-15 Bud-N-Flower Booster Carefree

The Desert Rose is a dramatic, one-of-a-kind plant that thrives in sunny, low moisture environments. The most unique feature of the plant is the greenish-gray bulbous base, known as the caudex, which grows with age. Its trumpet-shaped pink and white flowers, fleshy green leaves and swollen base make it a perfect specimen for a non-traditional, instantaneous bonsai. The perfect container plant for any home, deck or patio! Includes one actively growing plant in a 4" pot.

A native of East Africa and a relative of the plumeria. The Desert Rose is a succulent plant that can live for hundreds of years. It makes a perfect companion for cacti and other succulents! Enjoy it year-round! Desert Rose is beautiful when planted in the landscape as an annual, but is also perfect for planting in a container with good drainage. In warmer months, enjoy this sun-lover on your deck or patio. In coolers months, we recommend bringing the plant indoors and placing it by the brightest sunny window in your home. Low to no maintenance! There's no need to worry about this tough, drought tolerant plant while you're away. Desert Rose is deer and rabbit resistant and requires only minimal watering. Pruning is also rarely needed with this slow-growing succulent.
