Hedera helix, commonly known as common ivy, European ivy, or King's Choice ivy, is a flowering plant belonging to the Araliaceae family. It is native to most of Europe and parts of western Asia. Ivy is an evergreen vine that climbs on tree trunks, walls, and fences, often found in gardens, abandoned areas, and natural habitats.
